A Name Better Than Sons, the pilot script for The Envoy of the Nile, has won Best Series Screenplay at the Christian Online Film Festival, July 2026.

The screenplay follows Simeon of Meroë, the unnamed Ethiopian eunuch of Acts 8, now given a name and a life. Sent north to Jerusalem, he investigates scripture-coded murders inside the early church, all while carrying the very verse that bars him from the assembly he's trying to protect.
